My son joined the Jolly Nose Gravity Groms over summer.

Nathan and Col are experienced coaches and gave great advice and instruction on riding bikes and how to progress to the next level safely. They also put a lot of emphasis on respecting others in the group and helping each other out. Great communicators with the younger generation and we can highly recommend getting your kids off devices and involved with these guys. You won’t regret it!

My son and I started mountain biking about 12 months ago with zero experience. We were lucky enough to start riding with Col and Nath in our group. To say we have learnt a thing or two would be an incredible understatement. The way they break down technique has made our progression happen so quickly. So patient, no pressure to do anything we are not comfortable with, but so encouraging when they can see that we are capable of the “next feature”. My son then joined the Gravity Groms program at Jolly Nose MTB club and at 14 years old his progression is off the charts. His confidence is soaring, so much so that he accomplished a 6metre road gap in less than 12 months of riding and gets better and better with every ride. I can’t thank Col and Nath enough for their coaching and their friendship. The whole thing has been life changing (mainly for the old Dad) and I can’t imagine our lives now without bikes in them. Thanks boys. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for both of us. We’ll be pushing our limits at our own levels for a few years to come yet, with the confidence that you’ve got our backs and the knowledge to know when we are ready or not. Ride on!
